Shearing is scheduled for Mar. 8th

Our 2010 shearing is scheduled for March 8th this year.  It's less than two weeks away!
I will skirt the fleeces and post information on any that will be available in the grease.
I am planning to ship quite a bit of it out for processing before the end of the March.
I should have plenty of BFL and Shetland roving and combed top to choose from at Shepherd's Harvest this year.  This will be my first year as a Shepherd's Harvest vendor, in past years I've shown my sheep in the Hall of Breeds.  Please be sure to stop in and look for my booth there. Shepherd's Harvest takes place over Mother's Day weekend, May 8 & 9, 2010 in Lake Elmo, MN.

  1. Are all your fleeces claimed already, or do you have some still for sale?

  2. Oh my gosh Erica! I don't know how your comment slipped past me. I am just now skirting my fleeces from the March 8th shearing. It's been a whirlwind spring around here. I don't coat my sheep so I normally have them processed and sell roving and combed top. I have 7 Shetland Mule fleeces and a Dorset and an Ile de France cross fleece still left to skirt.
